Is there anyone else out there that likes the idea of a Mulder/Reyes relationship? I remember the very first time Monica and Mulder met - there was instant chemistry  That was in "Empedocles". I just love the way Mulder looked at Monica - he admired her and you can see that he was also attracted to her (both physically and mentally). Plus, we all know that Mulder has a soft spot for brunettes (Diana, Melissa Riedell) so of course he'd fall for Mon' 
I would have loved to have seen the two of them work together as FBI partners on the X-Files. That was Mulder's life's work and Monica's dream job. I don't think any other agents who've ever been assigned to XFD have loved the work as much as Fox and Monica. They would have been so great together. Too bad David wanted off the show and too bad the writers made Mulder a real dick in seasons 8 and 9.
Mulder from seasons 1-6 would have been a great guy for Monica to be with/work with. Too bad they stuck her with Doggett instead - boy did those two really not get along well.
I want more MRR!

LOL Before you know it you'll be in love with almost any XF pairing possible, like I am
I especially think the Mulder from season 4 would have worked well with Monica He has a sweetness and seriousness about him that kind of lacks in the following seasons and that hasn't come to the fore in previous seasons.

Right there with you guys. I love MRR Too bad there's so few fanfics out there. I'm working on a few myself, but can't seem to find many other ones out there.
Anyone got any links?
Hopefully Reyes and Doggett will be in the new movie, there might be some good interaction there then
